Welcome Gary. I,too moved here from Chicago,this spring. Used to walk the Apple River quite a bit. NICE smallies there. A great way to fish.

10-9 Point 10 area and Jackson hollow. Brown/purple football jig,blacks and wtmln fish doctor. Bank to 10ft,in sun. Most were 14-14 1/2....... Any tips for suspended fish? Saw plenty, 40ft plus.

What colors and sizes do you prefer? I use mostly G.pumpkin,purp/brown and watermelon.

Just moved here a few months ago. Retired firefighter. Fished Aunts Creek area for a few years,Apr and May. Live near Branson West,and would like to fish smallies. Any help greatly appreciated. Bill P
