Hello everyone...joined the website a while back but just getting around to the profile. Grew up in Iowa, lived in Arkansas for ten years, then moved to KC in the early 90's (job). Currently semi-retired and you can guess by my screen name...love to fish for walleye. Have fished Canada, South Dakota and a few other places but plan on fully retiring to the Springfield area ina couple of years so decidied to concentrate my fishing tyo Bull Shoals and Norfork because of tghe walleye poplulations. Have fished both lakes several times and am learning more each time I go....and that's thge main reason I joined the site...to share and continue to learn the best techniques, conditions and the lakes themselves. Have had reasonable success on my trips but there's always room for improvement. Bought a used Lund 17.5 Pro Adventure last fall and am just now finishing reiiging it the way I want it. So, looking forward to getting to know other members and would be glad to share what I have learned. Good fishing to everyone!
Mike:
I fished lower Bull Shoals (above and below Point 9) Oct 11, 12 & 13./ Didn't boat a single walleye, tried bottom bouncers, spoons in 30-50 ' , main lake points, bluffs etc. ....nothing!!! Frustrating...but I'll be back.
What was I doing wrong??? Did notice the lake is full of large shad...their everywhere1111
