Hello everyone, I am not from the Ozarks but I enjoy fishing there. I grew up fishing trout in California then we moved to the midwest when I was a teenager where learned about farm pond fishing. I eventually bought a boat and got into lake fishing. A good friend of 20 years has taught me the art of Walleye fishing which I enjoy, but nothing is like that first love, and mine is river Trout fishing. I have been blessed with a job that allows me to get to the Ozarks from time to time. Once, while sitting at the Flippin, Ar airport I found a brochure on the Sportsman resort advertising Trout fishing on the White River. Now when I fly into Flippin, Ar I bring my pole. Jim from the Sportsman picks me up from the airport and I fish with Pete Cobb on the river. I took my Daughter with me Monday and we had a great time catching Trout and enjoying the cool air coming off the river. It was great feeling passing on my first love of trout fishing to my Daughter.
