I bought the boat cover new with my clacka a year and half ago, and since I keep the boat in the garage it is still in new condition. The color is grey and black. I believe the cover is $500 new. I am looking to get $350 plus shipping. Send me an email to erichammerstone@yahoo.com or call me @ 314-565-4014. PayPal is the preferred method of payment.
I can send pictures of the cover if needed. I just don't have any right now.
Thanks for the invite Justin. Probably not going to be able to make it though. Amy has a group of us booked for the lodge at trout island (at least that's what I've told everybody) the weekend after on the 19th and 20th. I'm pretty excited to check it out. Sounds like its gonna be a good time. I always seem to miss the gatherings by one weekend dammit.
We will be down to see you next weekend on the 27th. Hope them colors stick around. Im pretty sure Amy has us down for a couple sleeper cabins for Saturday and Sunday night should be 4 or 5 of us. See you see you bright and early on the 27th.
Chris, I think for now the plan is to float the lower on Saturday. Not too sure if we will have time to hit any water above Sunburst, maybe from Blair on Sunday morning. I do like the idea of less traffic on the lower. Hopefully the fishing is decent. Thanks for the tips man, have a good one.
Thanks for the info guys. The low water and no clouds on Saturday is making me nervous. Hopefully we have a bit of luck.
Brian, we will probably float from Sunburst down to James. You're thinking mostly streamers past Patrick?
Thanks,
Eric
Thanks Chance. I saw a Headhunter down at Justins a couple years ago and thought it was incredible, and then back in January Sean C happened to be fishing the NFOW the same day as us. I hollered at him to pull ashore so I could take a closer look at it, and then he sealed the deal by letting me have a go on the sticks to the next island. I swore he was secretly working for Clacka . Needless to say it was awesome and by march I was picking one up.
I think if I tried twice a month my wife would probably deliver the boat herself while I'm at work and negotiate the sale by the end of summer. Once a month should keep me out of the dog house, as long as I take her on a few trips as well.
We did see that boat. It was sweet.
We definitely need to get a trip planned man. I am already looking at dates. I feel like I need to have that skiff on the water at least twice a month.
No name yet. I'm sure my girls are gonna come up with something though.
Chris, Yep, I talked to Conant when we got back from fishing on Friday night and told him about the Brown, and he was at Hammerstone's. Too funny! Small world man.
Actually, after a bit of re-organizing I was able to fit her car back in the garage with a couple feet of clearance. I don't think I could have convinced her to let me have the whole garage.
