What baits, and what locations? I'll be down to the Current June 15-June 18 and hope to catch a few smallies and even a few trout. Looking forward to fishing the Current, i've heard some great things. We will be fishine the upper and upper middle. Let me know what baits should work best. Thanks

My father and I are headed down to do some trout fishing Mar. 29 - Ap. 2. While down there I thought we'd spend a day on Table Rock trying to catch a few of those black bass i've heard so much about. We are camping at the State Park so I planned on putting in at the ramp there and heading across the lake to Beardsley Branch. I figured we'd start off with a 3"-4" curly tail grub and possibly try a suspending jerk bait and see how that worked. This will be our first attempt at Table Rock black bass. I don't know if this is a good plan of attack or not, so any advice anyone in the forum may have to offer would be greatly appeciated. I certainly am not opposed to changing plans if it means catching fish. Thanks Brian

I was wondering if anyone in the forum may know of a good magazine I could subscribe to for trout/smallmouth fly fishing, or fishing in general. I am looking for something with tips, techniques, patterns and stories. I was thinking about American Angler if anyone has read that, let me know how you liked it. I'd also like to say that I enjoy reading the forum for the fishing reports and tips to use when I visit Taneycomo from Troy, MO. Keep up the good work.
