  1. I would like to add my story to this line. My wife managed to close the pole locker top on a Bass Pro rod that we had for only a few months. Thw top 6 inches seperated and she said 'Sorry". I am very reluctant to ask a store to replace an item that was broken due to an accident, but it was an expensive pole (to me) ao I carried it into BP the next time I was in Springfield. The person at the Customer Service desk looked at the pole and my receipt and told me I could go into the fishing dept and get another pole. No muss, no fuss, just good customer service and an honoring of the warranty. Just saying!
  2. If you are going to buy your chip right now, you will decide by the lakes the chip covers. I have both and like the Lake Master the best, but as others have mentioned, they do not cover TR and LOZ. I go to Stockton a lot and it does cover that lake. One feature that tips the scales toward Lake Master is the setting for lake level. When the lakes are low, you can adjust the depth settings so you do not get into dangerously shallow water that is normally safe. Hope this helps
  3. I really don't like to read those manuals either. That would be why I use the "find" feature within Adobe. Makes life so much easier and the wife thinks I am surfing the web, not reading a manual.
  4. I downloaded the manual and searched it with Adobe Reader. You may want to go to pages 139-140 and see if the answers to your questions are there.
  5. It was my wife and I that had the ooops with the boat trailer coming off the hitch. We really did appreciate the help and I am grateful that it did not come with some guffaws! We had dragged the boat from Monett to the lake, launched and had the boat out of the water before it jumpped hitch. No idea what I did wrong, but again, I am grateful for the assist.
