Alby Fish

Been reading on here and hopefully the fall bite will start getting better. My dad and I will be staying in Aunts Creek and fishing Friday thru Monday. Caught some good fish in the area Memorial day weekend and hoping to do the same this trip. Looks like the weather should be decent and partly cloudy with some rain maybe on Sunday. But we all know how that can change here in MO. Any info would greatly be appreciated. AlbyFish

Hello All, Sorry for the delayed report. Fished Taney Sunday afternoon thru Tuesday afternoon. Did well fishing, even caught myself with a Rapala underneath my fingernail, but Curtis at Lilley's Landing was able to get it out no problem. Did the best above fall creek from the dam down, caught a 20 1/2" rainbow on a Rapala. Also, most of our fish above fall creek were caught on a Rapala, while two other guys had luck with jigs. From Fall Creek to Cooper caught most of our fish on Rapala's and worms (inflated), even caught a few on PowerBait (Trout Color). Not many caught down by the Bridges and Bass Pro.
