I have enjoyed It in the spring and summer but have never fished it in winter. Any advice would be appreciated! I have experience from Peavine Hollow to War Eagle, mainly smallmouth, perch, and bluegill. Also from where Town Branch enters all the way to Horseshoe Bend, everything from smallmouth, largemouth, sand bass, perch, bluegill, and even walleye. Thanks!!!

Are there any reputable guides that work the lower Illinois? I have fished there before but would be interested in a guide if there was a highly recommended one. Reading the latest fishing reports on here it sounds like they are biting and on a variety of different flys, worms, eggs. I am a novice and could always use tips from a good guide... Thanks!
