im not real picky, just want to get out and catch something. Walleye/crappie would be nice, hooking a bass won't make me mad though, either. Im going Saturday, expecting some nice weather.

Was wondering if anyone has done any bank fishing, or know if it would be viable right now, at Stockton or any of the rivers running out/in of it. I live in Spfd and looking for a closer place to do some bank fishing and have a mediocre shot at success this weekend.

Thank you, RPS. I may take you up on that sometime this year. Im wanting to expand my "fishing holes" to more than what I can count on my hand. I don't have a boat, so bank fishing is all I got for now. Hoping to get a kayak or canoe this summer though.

Where at on upper bullshoals are you hearing of this? I am going fishing Saturday and was trying to decide between Pomme de terre or heading down to forsyteh and hitting up the beaver creek area.

Hi, my name is Drew. Found this site a few weeks ago as I prepare for some spring fishing. Was looking for some educational information and stumbled accross this...what a wealth of shared knowledge. I can't wait to contribute myself! I primarily fish Stockton and forsythe area, as I am from Springfield. Soemtimes i make it to Pomme de terre, Warsaw on occassion (especially in june for the crappie)and hardle ever to table rock (mostly because im not as familiar with it). I really enjoy fishing white bass, want to get better at fishing Catfish, but mostly just like get my line wet and ahving a good time.
