  1. Thanks Bry, LJ
  2. Does anyone know when this will be on TV?
  3. Up in Minnesota, the best method is using a chartruse twister tail and jig head with a decent size minnow. They do school up real well and will not be spooked by a boat, normally. I would suggest casting it out and bringing it in slowly, they do like movement. "Minni-Mites" in white with red head are also good bait. What is a yellow perch? It is in the walleye family. I have caught them as big as 14 inches in Leech Lake. They are delicious. In Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana, you will spend about $20 for a "Lake Perch" dinner. Lake Perch and yellow perch are the same. Ocean Perch-nasty. Easy to identify, dark vertical stripes with alternating yellow stripes on the entire fish.
  4. Beautiful, congratulations on a great day,
  5. I know exactly how you feel and share your feelings. On top of that, I too like to wade and leave my boat in the garage, any day of the week. Unfortunately, last week we had ONE day of zero generation. This was the first day of zero that we have had in well over a month. I hope you catch it right, I will be out there with you. Seems like the COE is a little gun shy after the flood waters of last year. Everytime it rains, they hurry to bring the lake down to 654. I would think with the mild temperatures, we would have more wadable water, but we also expect that in Oct & Nov and it didn't happen. It would be great if the sportsman could have a little insight as to what they want to accomplish each week or month. PR would be a great thing for the Corp, again, unfortunately, they don't have to talk to anyone or answer to anyone. Have a good trip, last week, in the zero generation, size 22 midges were hot in red and silver along with soft hackles in orange. Lockjaw
  6. Tried that welding shop, he will cut a piece off, but does not have the material. I was told, and probably correct, that is is illegal to have the rail material, if you could, every Meth Head would be stealing it from the railroad bed and turning it in for scrap. Two feet is way to much, two feet would be over 100 pounds. Hopefully, someone will know, Lockjaw
  7. Does anyone know where you can purchase a railroad rail anchor? Lockjaw
  8. Does anyone know where to purchase a railroad rail anchor in the Bull Shoals/ Mountain Home area? Lockjaw
  9. AJ, are you in the Lakeview/ Bull area or some other part of the lake?
