  1. Thanks for the tips. Had a great day today on the lake. Best 5 went 18.2. Biggest 4.8. Caught them on a little bit of everything. Jig, plastic worms, lizards. No top water today.
  2. Supposed to be CURRENT fishing reports. Silly auto correct on my phone. Thanks
  3. Heading down tomorrow, first time to the lake this year. Wanting to know if there are any Cyrene reports? What's working best, how deep, things like that. Gonna be saying close to the dam. Hawaiian island area. Thanks
  4. For clarification what is a NED rig?? Thanks Jim
  5. For clarification what is a NED rig?? Thanks Jim
  6. Fished from Friday the 23 to today Tuesday the 27th. Overall i was not to impressed with the fishing on TR. A lot of the reports I read said the lake was pretty good for fishing. We were able to catch some but was not the extended weekend I was hoping for. Cooler weather the first couple days and warmer the last days. Started to see a lot of fish shallow in the back of pockets yesterday afternoon and mid morning this morning. Lots of wrapped boats out around Indian Point area. Caught them on baby brush hogs and super hogs, if anyone is interested. Could not get bite on a spook, but seen a lot chasing. Seen a lot of A-Rigs flying through the air as we moved to other locations. (kinda hard to miss that big of a bait in the air lol).
  7. Thanks for the tips. Turned out to be an ok day. Caught some this evening. Decided to try a brush-hog and did alright. Not the best day on TR but have never fished this early in the year here. Totally different than drop-shotting in August lol.
  8. Got down here yesterday, caught a good bass on the a-rig. Fished all morning and only had one on with the a-rig. Comments on where or what I should focus on the rest of the week? As for crappie... New to me on TR. from st.louis and usually fish Mark Twain Lake for crappie. We jig standing timber and do well. Tried that earlier this afternoon and had nothing. Any suggestions?? Thanks
