Hey everyone. I just got a little bigger size blanks in for the Taney night fishing. I know everyone have their own size that they like but I like the 6wt 9' size. Just to get something going I'll take $15 off if you tell me you saw this on the built rods. Come and get it! Thanks

I have a friend in Japan that has bought a lot of blanks from me that I've been able to email and find out more info on what is going on there. I'm attaching his latest email that he sent me. He talks about our service men helping them and how great it is to have them. We need to remember how great our military men and women are. Please pray for all of the people there. I am ok and my daily life is as same as before but our people in northan area are still experiencing hard time...Our goverment. companies, people who work as a volunteer. self defence force and US troops have already started to supply home, foods, clothing and neccessary goods to the victims so they must feel relieved. All of Japanese appreciate for your troops!!! They are working SO HARD!! for us. I think what I can do is just to pray and donate some money to the victims. Another problem is a radioactive substance. Our government don't say people in Tokyo have to escape and most of us think it's appropriate at the moment. I really hope the trouble in the nuclear power plant get back to normal ASAP... Some of my fishing friends told me they have gave up going fishing in northan Japan area but I think, after a while, I should go to the area and contribute to their economy by staying hotel, buying foods or something. Got to head up or down to Bennett Saturday morning for a little fun! I was up at HaHa Tonka hunting and decited to fish instead. Met my buddies there from Columbia. Temp was great and the fishing was hot. Not hardly a soul showed up before 9. We had the place to ourselfs!! The wind was calm also so sight fishing was on! I tried a couple things and went to the old favorite. Killer Worm! We walked up and down around the spring and had a ball. About 10 you could feel the temp start dropping. I hadn't been home to see my girls in three days so I headed out about 10:30. Caught about 35 fish and had a blast!!!! It was strange to not have many people around on Saturday fishing. Met a fellow rod builder from Nixa and his buddy. He cast my 1wt and now he's buying a couple blanks now!

I like the picture! Sometimes you have to act silly to do something good! Keep taking them and posting them. I do the same thing! I'll be up at Bennett on the 11th. Look out fish!! Have you seen any big boys in the river??

I too was a little dissapointed in the size of the fish, but after last year seeing the way the lunkers were treated I don't blame the park for not turning them loose. I saw more big dead fish on the bottom than I've ever seen and at the end of the season there weren't many left. It was still fun to fish!! The catching was good also.

She showed me some others that she's looking for now. One was of workers building the two falls up at hatchery and one was of Bass lake when it was full. She's still looking.

I about fell off my chair the other day when this lady I know showed me some post cards. I don't know the year when they were taken but I thought they were great. She has a few more that she's finding and I'll post them also. These are really great!!! I thought you all would like them!!!

Do they turn loose a lot of big fish at Bennett like they do at Roaring River??

Wow! Thanks for all the info. It's not that I don't like scud hooks it's that the last bunch of hooks I got seem to break off really easy and the fish would pull out about 2 seconds after I set the hook. I'll try some of the suggestions. Thanks a bunch!!

I've used a bunch of different brands of scud hooks in the past and not really loved any of them. Does anyone have a favorite brand they use?? Thanks!!!
