I believe it is 6lb. I have a few flys I couldn't tell you what they are though. Yes I am going to attempt to tie some flys. I'm in no hurry yet to get out there. We have basketball every Saturday until March.

Thanks for the help. I have already been to Bass Pro. White bass and perch will be what I will fish for. Maybe get some trout at some point. Just don't know where to start. I'm in Lockwood not far from Stockton lake.
