    Can you have a larger motor on your boat, trim it up and only use your trolling motor?

    I'm looking at a new boat and will mainly be fishing fellows. Last I heard the HP limit was 40. The boat i'm interested in has a 50HP. Is this enforced by motor size or more by speed and courtesy of the driver?

    Great thanks for the info. I have also heard they are in the James River and Finley but where can you go to fish either of these rivers?

    I was on fishingnotes.com and from their info I gathered Fellows had smallmouth. Thanks for the info, could save me some frustration later!

    Hey guys I'm new to the Springfield area and have only been to Springfield Lake. I really haven't had much luck there and was hoping Fellows would offer better fishing. I know its a bigger lake and I have a 10 ft bass hunter(the plastic 2 seater boat). Would I be ok on the water with that small of a boat? I'm from the KC area and have never come across smallmouth but I have heard they are a blast to catch. I have a lot of experience with largemouth but if you have any tips for hooking a smallie I would appreciate it
