We rented a boat but it was a tough afternoon. Caught a few on rat l trap, and a few on watermelon red rage craw. It was nice to get out on the lake even though we didn't catch much. Saw some crazies swimming out there! Hehe

Yesterday was a bust for us, but today looks nice minimal wind. Thinking about renting a boat for the afternoon and evening. Just wanted to see how the bite was today with this cool morning that rolled in.

Yup he just sent me a message to grab some tubes, I think the last time I fished a tube I was 10 years old and it was for crappie. This will be new for me.

Nice! I'll load up on some of them. I am ready to get out there. Always wanted to catch a smallmouth too if I hook into to one it will be my first! Hope the bite stays strong!

Like the title says i am heading out for my first trip to Table Rock. Just me and the wife we are Very excited! I have gotten her hooked on fishing and she is having a blast. I have one day of fishing booked with Mike Webb on Friday and the others days i am by myself. Gonna make one more Bass Pro run tonight. To grab a few extra lures. Can anyone recommend a couple of great go to baits to stock up on right now for the Rock this time of year? Got plenty of basics. Plan on picking up some Fish Doctors, couple of wiggle warts. Maybe some tubes. Some various jig head sizes, I read some posts that grubs are pretty good. Any advice on a good go to bait you might have would be appreciated!
