  1. Does anyone know the float distance from Blunks to Walnut Springs? I'm thinking 6-8, thanks.
  2. Started a little after sunrise fished all the usual spots, no luck until around 11 caught two on Rage Craw and my friend caught one on a jerk all shorts and all on the same bluff in 42 degree water then the wind picked up quite a bit not a great day but still nice to get out and not freeze.
  3. Thanks for the info should be a good day will report back.
  4. Headed up tomorrow wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as far as what the bass are doing and biting on right now, any help is appreciated!
  5. I torn em up yesterday on a sexy shad spook, got a couple more on a crank and a lizard but top bite was killer no big ones but we caught over 50 fish almost all largemouths, fun day!
  6. I went up on Saturday and fished a little that night with no luck and then Sunday morning we went up past Y bridge and fished coves, points, and some brush piles and didn't get a single bite. Before we loaded the boat back up we hit one brush bank close to the camp ground and I caught two pretty nice bass in three casts on a pink and purple power worm. It was a pretty nice trip but would have like to catch a few more.
  7. I love going into Fin and Feather, they don't have alot but what they have is not junk. They are usually not too busy and you can get in and out quickly if you need to. I get along with the guys there I suppose because I used to play pool with the owner (who is one of the best pool players in the state, maybe even the country) and I like talking with the old men in there and they will always tell you what's biting and where if you ask. They also get alot of expensive gear that is on close out and they will tell you what they are expecting to come in. I have been to Academy once and was not impressed, if I want to go into a big store they have nothing on Bass Pro.
