How is the water in the Big M area after all the rain last night and early this morning? Thinking about coming down tomorrow and putting in a Big M, but I want to know if there is lots of debris in the water.

I am looking at a new boat that is in Oklahoma. I want to buy the boat, but I am concerned about one issue. It has a larger HP motor than the boat is rated for. I know in Oklahoma they don't have a law for that. I have done some research online and I can't find if Missouri does or does not have a law against this. The boat is rated up to 150 HP motor, and the boat has a 175 HP motor on it. Have any of you guys ran into this are than any issues/problems with this I need to be aware of. I don't want to buy this boat then be unable to register it, etc.

I have a 17.5' Champion I would like to get recarpeted. Does anyone have a ballpark estimate of how much this costs? I would just like to get an idea. Also is there places to get this done here in southwest MO. I live in Monett.

Has anyone here every put new carpet in their bass boat? My old Champion needs some new carpet, but I really don't have the extra money to pay to have someone do it. How difficult is the carpet to replace or is there any place that gives good instructions?

I haven't been to the Campbell Point area in a while, and will be going down there this weekend. How has the fishing been in that area? Any spots I should hit in paticular?

My boy has been playing baseball non-stop, so I am making my first trip down to the Rock since June 2, on Saturday night. I will most likely fish the Big M area. Anybody have any pointers since its been what seems like ages since I have fished. I assume the fish are deep, I know the water is warm and down. Anybody been night fishing in that area lately? I getting ready to start night fishing a lot. My buddy says its the best, however I haven't done much of it at all. I am looking for any pointers. What spots might be good at night? I am planning on throwing a black/blue jig and 10" worm mostly, anything else that works good at night? I will be fishing the Shell Knob area. Thanks for the help!

I am pretty new to bass fishing. The place I work as a little bass club and I fish in it. Can anyone offer a newbie some advice on fishing the upper end of Table Rock. I fish mainly the Campbell Point up to Roaring River area. I haven't been having much luck. Not sure if its where I'm fishing or what I'm throwing. I think its more of not knowing where to fsh.
