Fished from 6:30 till about noon ,only caught 1 and probably only had 3 bites all day ,tough crappie fishing ,but still a great day on the water ,my old boat ran good ,now if I could just figure out how to catch them crappies

went and fished Truman for the first time .i put in at bucksaw. Caught fish but also caught the boat on a lot of trees .what are some tips on navigating that lake .does a guy need a gps system to help him stay in the river channel when he's traveling to a new spot .

Thanks oneshot .so just put in along 13 hwy isn't one called deep water ? I'm not real familiar with that area ,first time I've had a boat on Truman .looking forward to it

Look to find out where to put in at on Truman .im coming out of bolivar I live off d highway .ive never fished Truman usually fish pomme ,also looking for a general area that might put me on some slabs .thanks for your help ,good luck fishing .

Not in bolivar but there is a house on d that you will drive past going to bolivar landing that sells minnows.he has a sign out that says worm king.i think his hours are 6am to 6 pm.i useally get minnows from alps grocery store in Pittsburg .im going to try the worm king soon .i live about a mile from him .

I drive truck so I know what ya mean by wishing we had a job close to home.when I'm out on the road I can't wait to get back home and get on the lake ..that's a nice organized jug setup you have there .

You all did a lot better than I did that's for sure .i didn't get to make it out Saturday so I went Sunday morning .i wanted to go this morning but I'm new in town and I only got one fishing buddy and he had to work.

Fished 7am till 12 pm and only caught 5 fish and some small bass .put in at bolivar landing . Used minnows and tubes .what kind of luck did you all have .i didn't catch many fish and I got a sunburn but I had fun

Sounds like a great time .i wish I could make it .im a over the road truck driver so I'm not going to get home till late morning so I'm going to miss this one.i do plan on fishing sat and Sunday ,so don't catch them all lol

Yes we put in at bolivar landing on Saturday and caught some nice ones .no shorts all good size slabs.and some nice bass but Sunday was tough .im blaming it on the storms we had earlier so we didn't go out till about noon .

Put in at nemo fished all the way to the dam only caught one keeper and a few small bass. Fishing a bobby garland baby shad in tuxedo shimmer and minnow .it was tough fishing .it was my first time fishing that part of the lake ..

I'm new to the board but I'd like to buy some ozark angler stickers to put on my boat if they can still be got.thanks .
