Guys, looking for a little direction for an early March trip to beaver. Taking my daughter up for her springbreak. Thinking about doing a striper trip, but wanted to get your suggestions. We will have a pontoon boat so can go ourselves and target any species. Walleye or crappie would be cool but I've never been on the lake this early. Any info or suggestions are appreciated.

Well, I got a Beaver lake butt kicking. Caught a few spotted bass, small white bass and one nice 2lb smallmouth. Could not find a walleye. fished around point 6 one day and several points closer to the darn the others I'm gonna try to come back around labor day and try again. How are y'all rigging your worm harness to get them down to the fish?

are you catching shad on Beaver? I know a lot of the guides haul their shad in from OK. I have not had any luck catching shad, and it seems when i set up the lights im only attracting ghost minnows

I plan to spend a few days at beaver at the end of the month. I know from reading the posts that it's a hard lake to fish during July and August. Wondering if anyone had advice on making the best of it and boating some walleyes. I'm staying pretty close to Starkeys. Thanks guys, looking forward to hearing ya'lls thoughts
