I've owned property in TDL for 20yrs. The bass fishing is slow due to the water clarity.The larger lakes Shayne,Capri,Marseilles and Lafitte rival Clearwater in how clear the water is. Panfish fishing can be real good at times.I've caught legitamite 1lb bluegills there!
Now here's the downside. Unimproved lots can be bought for around $1000. Assesments are $220 a year. Boat sticker $30(over 150hp $ 50).
Any boat with a motor over 9.9hp needs watercraft insurance. Dues are due by may 1st every year.
Being that this a private lake community some lakefront home owners feed the fish and consequently think they own them!! I've been cursed at
and yelled more than once for taking thier fish!! hope this helps
