  1. I just got on with St. Croix so I am liquidating all other rods. . . This is one of the best 3 rods to have on a deck, these champions have super nice actions. . 765 flip is a perfect flipping, crig/ heavy football jig rod 733 is a very versatile rod for many applications 682 spin is probably one of the best drop shot / finesse actions I have seen for light line applications. retail on these are: 250+250+220= 720$ Will ship to your door for 550$ . . not interested in splitting up at this time . . . also has the dobyns tip protectors included. message me here or email at: JayJCastle@gmail.com
  2. everything is sold, email me if you want to discuss anything
  3. we fished in the long creek area up to indian point, they made the entire state park off limits where we had found some quality fish. The biggest would have went around 7.5, what won it 2 days later. .LOL
  4. Well it was our second trip to Table Rock, this time for the Cabelas Big Bass Bash. . . We had an awesome day of practice this week catching many fish including these trophy's, but due to off limits and varying conditions, our big bite was not there for the tournament, we could only catch spots both days. . . but anyways, my report would be to get out when its sunny and windy and throw a-rigs around the shad and hold on!
  5. Hey guys, I have way too many rods and only a few tournaments left before Dental School starts, so I am clearing out some of my extras. Located in Fayetteville, Ar email me at: JayJCastle@Gmail.com or message me here Shimano Cumara Reaction series cranking rods: CUC77M & CUC711MH (Mid and deep cranking rods) (great trap rods too) -Have been used only a few trips, in like new condition: 300$ shipped for the pair all others gone
  6. thanks a lot guys, i see the corps are saying its about 9ft low, ill post a post trip report
  7. Was hoping anyone could provide any insight to bass fishing. . . putting in at the why 125 ramp i believe.
  8. If anyone would like to share knowledge on the lake, it would be very helpful . . .Due to finals coming up, I wont really have the necessary time to get out there and put in the hours needed. . . Feel free to pm me. I would love to return the favor on other area lakes I have been on
  9. Thanks for the nice comments guys, that pattern should hold up til the shad push deeper into the creeks. I am headed to Grand Lake for the first time in 3 weeks for another school tournament, maybe someone could pm me any info to get started with out there? Also if your a razorback fan, check the for sale listings, we have some really cool arkansas cotton cordell super spots that support our tournament fishing if anyone is interested, feel free to pm me
  10. 11lbs on sunday with that nasty storm/cold front that rolled thru won it. . . If it were saturday, we would have been around 16-17lbs . . If I were to give a fishing report for the lake. . . Fish main lake points and bluffs with mid size rocks on them . . . Spinnerbaits, A-rigs, jerk baits, wigglewarts and bomber fat free shads were what they were biting (caught some thick spots 2-3lbs). Smallies are on the steep banks inside main creeks with timber and rock throwing 10-15ft cranks thru them. . .We caught the blacks including the one in the picture in the backs of certain main lake creeks where the creek began turning into flats. . . They are on wood back there where the water is not so clear. . .
  11. Our scale had dead batteries , but i would say in the 7-8lb range with how thick she was. . .Every fish we caught had a belly on them. . . They are biting anything that mimics baitfish the best for us, but the wind was also blowing 15-20 too so go figure.
  12. U of Arkansas was here this weekend for an inner school tournament, found this girl on the first day fishing!
