April 29th temperatures got into the high 80's and the fish were bitting like crazy. I probably caught 15 bass on 34, all different sizes, between 10 and 4. Smithwick rogue and zoom super shad.

Has anyone been doing well at Busch this year? I have gone out twice and had pretty good luck on lake 34. Couple of small bass, nothing to exciting. Fished 35 for about 5 hours and caught 1 crappie.

I pulled a 3lb largemouth out of Spanish Lake Pond a few weeks ago. About a 20 min drive but its a nice quiet pond in the morning. Does anyone fish in the St. Louis Urban Fishing Project Lakes like forest park or the boat house? I would like to go check them out and I hear they will be stocked with trout soon.

I have been fishing Creve Coeur Lake at least once a week for about 7 months and only caught 8 small bass. I usually stay on the back side of the lake, opposite the beach. I have had pretty good luck with Zoom, baby bass swim baits. Be careful using crank baits and anything that is not weedless. Has anyone had any luck with bass along the walls on the beach side by the boat ramps? I have not made my way over to Mallard lake yet but I keep hearing more good things about it. For anyone else that lives in this area I would recommend staying away from Wilde Acres Lake in Overland until the algae clears from the top.
