  1. Keep us updated if you get back out, they are around but I think that they really come and go in that clear shallow water depending on the weather cloud cover.
  2. Launched the Kayaks on Saturday morning, fished from the mill dam down about a mile and then back up. Using a fly rod with baitfish imitations, only caught a suckerfish. We did see evidence of white bass being caught at the ramp but no one in my group caught anything other than a few black bass and the sucker. Any other reports?
  3. Fished Blunks from the ramp down to the big hole on Sunday then fished the top of the shoal above the ramp. White bass were nowhere to be found, I did catch a big small mouth out of the big hole but that was it. Found a 20 inch walleye on the gravel bar, dead, no idea how it got there. Water is up 2 or three feet from my March 21st trip, where I had no problem finding the whites, now it is very swift and hard to find any back eddies or fishable water aside from the big holes or top of the shoal.
  4. The you so much for the information.
  5. Where is Turn back Creek located? Is there a way to reach it with a kayak, launching and taking out from the same location, or by foot?
  6. I would like to give the little sac a try in the coming weeks, I have never fished there and will be using my kayak to get around and throw some clousers. I will be putting in and taking out from the same location since I will not have a shuttle to pick me up. In your experience, what are some good places to put in where I can do this?
  7. Thank you so much for your great report. I will be launching my kayak for a trip on the same stretch of river early Saturday, hopefully the cold weather doesn't completely ruin the fishing.
