  1. Sorry for no more posts guys but I was busy... Wetting a line and getting nuthin! All is not lost... Absolutely love the lake and the area and me and my bride are now Blue Green / Big Cedar owners so we will be back. I may have to make a guide trip or 2 so I get a better feel for the lake. Know anybody;)
  2. Boat is wet, line got wet today but did not get enough time on the water... Tomorrow should be better! Did not get much past the 86 bridge. Threw a couple jerks, a wiggle wart and my trusty Kelley's striped to not even a bump. Fishing blind with no electronic guidance sucks... Next investment for sure!
  3. As you may have realized I bleed Black and Gold...
  4. OK you guys all ROCK! I am really looking forward to it! I have a slip at Big Cedar and plan to drop her in sometime Thursday. If you are on the lake look for a blue and silver Winner Tournament with IN registration and a blue / silver Evinrude. Could not find a good pic of her wet... ">http:// Thanks again!
  5. It may be a rain-gear required cool trip, but I agree!
  6. I agree with you guys, I know it won't be like warm weather but I will regret it if I leave the boat at home. Thanks!
  7. OK, now you have me questioning towing the boat at all... My wife thinks I am nuts to take it with us in such marginal temps and my 18yr old is a bit skeptical too. Should I survey the area and come back again in warm weather? I don't wanna freeze my giblets off and wish I had left the boat clean and high and dry. I appreciate the insight and advice from all of you as I want to make a good decision.
  8. Not sure if I will leave the boat trailered after an 8 hour ride, but will check out the area as the is the 2nd or 3rd time I have heard that now. Thanks!
  9. The temps have had me a bit concerned, and i may be pulling the boat out into snow Wed morning but I think the temps will favor us from what I see... Don't want to freeze but also don't want to go all that way without the boat in tow. Thanks for the advice!
  10. Making my 1st trip ever to Table Rock this week. We get in Wed evening and leave Sunday morning. My bride got us a package (with the kids) to spend their Spring Break at Big Cedar. It will just be me and my 18yr old son fishing as my wife and daughter are fair-weather anglers at best... I am bringing my boat and may have a slip at the lodge. I REALLY want junior to get hooked on some serious bass this week so any recommendations and locations would be great! I am set with wacky rigs, A-rigs and jerks but and tips, pointers or otherwise for these Indiana boys would be appreciated!
