Coming down this weekend to fish upper bull shoals and was wanting to hook into some walleye. Last time i caught walleye was on a boundary waters trip with the boy scouts. Im not asking for anyones secret spot. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on what kind of water to look for them in and what would be the best bait, rig, or tactic to use right now?
Baptist camp... The water should be perfect; hasnt stayed at this level steady for a long time. I'll be down there this weekend.
The NPS lets people graze horses. Horses are a big deal down there. There are trails all over the hills.
I may have missed this but did the bowl have fuel in it? IF SO....I would recommend tearing the carb down and dipping it for a few hours. A new needle, seat, gaskets, and float can be had for about $20. Thats worked for me about 90% of the time ive had fuel issues.
Where did you see the wild horses? I thought the wild horses were down by eminence. Ive been hunting and fishing that area for 15 years now and ive never seen a wild horse before.
