There are lots of guys scouting and shooting huge fish on facebook. Hopefully on Sunday, we will see you RedSoxChamp on the scales and my son will have a fish to brag about.
Thanks Men! My son saw some grass carp photos which were as big as him, 50 pounds, that were shot somewhere on the lake. He is bouncing off the walls just to have the opportunity to be on a lake with fish that big. Thanks Champ for your report. Looks like the weather should be good, and like you said Red Sox, its about having fun.
Yes we are. My buddies left me high and dry, so I really doubt my nine year old and myself will have much of a chance. We decided instead of cancelling, the family would come down and have some fun anyway.
How is the shoreline in the long creek area? Are there many cedars along the edge still in the water or have the low water levels left the shorelines barren beaches?
Does anyone know of a local bowfisherman in the table rock area who is maybe just getting starting in guiding or considering guiding? My team mates can't make it down for the tournament which leaves at least one open spot in my boat for the shoot. I have a couple feelers out for guys to bring along but thought maybe it would be a good break for someone local to the lake to gain some exposure for their services and of course it would make my life easier as well. Thanks
I'm coming down for the Carp tournament next week and am curious about the water levels? If the lake is close to normal pool, that might make a few of my hunches be ok. If it's way down, I'd welcome any advice.
