Thanks for the welcome. Sea-Mash - I'm not really sure what to say about your McDaniel Lake experience. I can say I definitely haven't run into that. I will be on the lookout from now on (and make sure my son is within "eyeshot" when there).

Hi, all. I'm Mike. After reading things here off and on for a while, I decided to sign up. I am from STL originally. I grew up fishing Lake of the Ozarks. I am trying to get better at fishing in streams. I am just getting into fly fishing. I really need to get out on Lake Springfield, Fellows, and McDaniel. Like everyone else, I don't fish enough.
