  1. How can a non boater get in the Oct bass tourney? Oct 1
  2. How's the bass fishing on LOZ in Sept so far???
  3. I can come to the lake to fish on weekdays.
  4. The boats you speak of would be found on local Craigslist I suppose? Any idea on costs of boat storage on and off water?
  5. Is there a way for an experienced bass fisherman but non boater to fish with a bass boater that fishes alone but might welcome a partner? I don't have a boat here to use but can get out with someone who does if I knew how to connect.
  6. In a deep lake like LOZ with steep banks and quik changes in depth you would think decent bass could be in the shallow water at anytime. (3-8ft). Yet the guides I have researched (only 2 or 3) say the fish are only in deep water now.
  7. Why are the guides usually saying they aren't catching fish this month? Yet you go out and catch em.... And in shallow water- how shallow?
  8. Patience is essential. It seems it would also be hard to sink the worm with choppy waters and depth. Also to feel the bite. Do you use Texas Rig? Bullet wt?
  9. I'm in love with the LOZ scenery and depth variation. When you are used to shallow dingy lakes that go dead in the summer the clearer water and points, ledges etc are great for variety. Also the amount of spots to fish, wow!
  10. I've been bass fishing for 30 years and you guys speak a bass dialect that I'm even having to sort out ... I love it !
  11. Isn't there a depth even in hot weather that bass don't venture below? 25-30 ft maybe?
  12. Does color matter on summer deep crank baits?
  13. Does the crank bait have to get down to the bottom (20 ft on some points and steep banks, deep docks) or just swim through the water a few feet below surface?
  14. Is August the toughest month on Loz? I have heard this time of year that the guides will just go to brush piles on points and have you throw ten inch worms or jigs in10-30 ft of water. Is this the only approach this time of year?
