Dobyns Dx 703sf. Rod is basically mint. Cork might be a slightly dirty from use but it functions absolutely fine. Asking $250 TYD. $240TYD Shimano Cumara 6'8 M/F, SPINNING, Gen 2 (red). Rod is in excellent condition, used less than the Dobyns. However, the butt end was shut in a car door so it has been professionally repaired with a slightly bigger butt end. IMO, the rod balances better with the repair. I have used it several times since it has been repaired and it fishes absolutely fine. Asking $110 TYD $100 TYD Diawa Tierra 2000 (spinning reel). Rod is in great condition. I've only used it maybe 5 times. If you put tags on it I doubt you could tell it wasn't brand new. Rod is very light and sensitive and has a nice action. It balances great with any reel I put on it. Honestly I don't want to sell it but my line up will do better with a different rod. Looking to either trade or sell. I am looking for a casting rod 6'6 - 6'10 M/F - XF, something that can make a good jerkbait/topwater rod, something along the lines of a St. Croix Avid but I am open to offers. I have a Dobyns Savvy, 703SF (spinning) with micro guides. Its a nice rod. Tiny crack on epoxy of first guide, I can fix or leave to buyer, does not affect performance. Hey everyone, I just moved here from Raleigh NC. I usually fish out of a kayak, but being a first year grad student I didn't want to bring it to focus on my grades. However, I can't not fish, especially having just gotten a new rod/reel with another rod on the way... From what I've read (this forum and other sources), it sounds like these lakes are along the lines of what I would be looking to fish from the bank (as opposed to Table Rock, etc.). So, how is the bank fishing at these places? Are you confined to docks? Confined to other fishing areas? Or can you pretty much walk around the lakes? What is the bass population like on these lakes? Any and all information will be more than appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey All, I just moved here to Bolivar from Raleigh, NC. I am a first year grad student at SBU. I usually fish out of a kayak but did not bring it with me for the first semester to make sure I focus on my grades. Any advice on good places to bank fish would be more than appreciated however. I can't just go cold turkey... I'm looking forward to being part of the fishing community here.
