Sounds like a good trip for the end august.

Fished 6-12:30 am out of old state park. Found bass to be shallower than they are at table rock. We caught 12 bass with 4 keeps on jigs. Most were on brush piles with a couple on bluff transitions. Windy after dark but it blew the bugs away at least. Had one fish on a craw but broke off....pretty sure a.big walleye. Never turned him around.
