  1. Heard it took 14lbs to win and 8th place was around 12lbs. We went to Sweepco..it was tough!!
  2. Well, he is from Arkansas and his initials are S.R. I think you can figure it out from there. I could write a book on that miserable day. It was so bad that I had other co-anglers come up to me at the weigh in and ask what was up..they had been in the locks with Mr. SR and me and had witnessed his a-hole behavior.
  3. I have fished several BFLs and Everstarts...and fished the FLW tour on the co side in 2004 and 2005. Always a great experience. 98% of my draws were good ol' boys...Andy Morgan, Gary Yamamoto, Guido Hibdon, Wesley Strader...to name a few. I did fish an Everstart on the Red River in the early 2000's..the guy I drew the first day is on the Elite tour now. He was a 1st class D-bag from the word go!!! (I secretly root for him to finish dead last in every tourney!)
  4. Stump- I guess I might have one foot in the 'nascar' side of fishing. My tourney partner's boat is wrapped in 'Chevy of Fayetteville'..Chevy brought me and my daughter on board this year to have a presence in the Everett team trail. I am looking forward to the FLW this year on Beaver! Should be more wide open from the back of the boat with high water. Agree??
  5. We were going to fish it but don't want to take a chance on tearing something up. Probably going to go over to the hot lake instead.
  6. I have the flyer for the polar bear if someone would like to post it. 417-531-1144 is my cell
  7. Polar Bear is on..Jeff just drug his feet a little this year. Entry forms should be in the tackle shops this week..give me a shout at the Polar Bear if you see my buddies Triton wrapped with Chevy of Fayetteville on it.
  8. Thanks for the heads up trophy.
  9. I'll be in a red/white ranger chasing bass...or crappie...or whatever I can get to bite!!
  10. I will try to get the results from the winter series tourney..talked to the guy that runs it and he said nearly every boat had a limit except 3-4. I don't know about you guys, but when 2 guys in one boat catch over 30 keepers on Beaver in one day, I would say they are chewing pretty good.
  11. Winter series tourney took over 20 pounds to win..talked to the guy that got 3rd and he had over 30 keepers!!
  12. I like the way you think!!
  13. They really are biting guys, I promise!! Had almost 15 lbs with a 4.86 big bass 2 weeks ago in a derby. Last Sat and Sun we had our club championship. Had 10 or 12 keepers on Saturday with Sunday being much tougher with only 5 keepers. Finished 6th in the championship and won angler of the year..oh and the smallmouth guys caught'em pretty good on Saturday but not at all on Sunday. If you could see'em on your graph, you could catch'em!!
  14. Joe..we started down by Mullet lake but the water was high so we relocated to Deland! I have some pics but do not know how to post them from my phone.... Bob Stonewater was the guide we went with...I highly recommend him if anyone is planning a trip to the Orlando area. Check out the In Fisherman show that he filmed a couple years ago...it is on his website
  15. Biggest bass was over 6 with several between 3-4 pounds!! All in 3-4 feet of water around vegetation. My daughter caught the 6-6 1/2 pounder. Forgot to mention we was on the St Johns river in Florida!!
  16. I will be off Wed-Fri in prep for the Everett championship. Hope to find a couple patterns!!!
  17. Text 417-531-1144 and I will send pics. Thanks.
  18. PRICE DROP. $14,900
  19. I was in the Rocky Branch area and yes, water temp had dropped to 85-86 when I got to the lake around 5PM
  20. Bite was tough as expected but did find some drop shot action. Main lake stuff 15-20 feet deep, 3 keeper spots and some short spots and smallmouth. Only caught 1 after dark...a short smallmouth on a shaky head.
  21. 02 Ranger, 02 mercury 200 and 02 Ranger trailer. Minn Kota trolling motor, 597 down imaging in front and 798 down and side imaging on console. Boat and motor cover, new trolling motor batteries, aerator pump, auto bilge pump, merc smart craft gauge...around 260-270 hours on the motor. Just have to check the smart craft again...everything works and runs great!! $15,900. In Fayetteville. Call or text 417-531-1144
