  1. Would you mind emailing it to me. Nicholas.suhling@gmail.com. Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the replies. I was fishing just north of beaver creek. I've caught a lot of nice ones at and near the mouth of swan. I'm just trying to expand on my walleye spots. I've caught some nice ones from the power site darn and down a couple hundred yards below. Never really caught anything at barker. But it's a big lake and your water clarity here is a whole other hurdle for me. But it hasn't been bad.
  3. Thanks. I'm use to fishing northern waters up in Wisconsin and Michigan. I just figured with the waters still in the lower 40's they'd be holding eggs still. But who knows really.
  4. I've been fishing everyday since the last shore report with no success till today. Probably due to the storm coming in and the change of pressure. 3 Walleye and a few dozen whites. 1 keeper walleye weighed in at 6.1 pounds and measured 26 inches. Female with no eggs. Which I thought was a lil early for that and if I'm wrong please chime in and say so. A lot of fat. And was an aggressive strike. I kept her. The other two weren't even 12 inches. Caught off the bottom on a 1/4oz chartreuse jig with a white / pearl swim bait reeled in slow with a semi aggressive jig/twitch action. Whites came of a red 1/8oz jig heat with same bait. Swim baits I use are 3 1/2 inches in length. Whites were caught with an average to slow smooth retrieve with no jigging. Just paused a few times so it could settle back to the bottom. Nothing on the minnow and worm dead sticks. Not even a bite. I just moved here in May. And I run an elk camp in colorado 5 months out of the year so this is really my first year fishing in Missouri waters. Is it normal for your walleye to already have spawned this early?
  5. Biggest crappie was 15". Smallest was regulation. A lot of shorts though.
  6. It's pretty deep right now. Bottom fishing with the dead sticks. Casting with an 1/8oz chartreuse jig head with a pearl swim bait. Minnows and crawlers were on the bottom. A few times they would get hit on the way down.
  7. All in all the evening bite was the best. From 7pm to midnight caught a mixed bag of crappie, some nice half pound bull gills a darn carp and a ton of short eyes. Eyes and crappie came from minnows and white twister tails hauled in slow tipped with a bit of crawler for flavor and scent. The gills were an accident off of whole crawlers on the bottom. 4 keeper crappie. 2 dozen gills. I lost count of short walleye but I went out with 4 dozen minnows and left with none. We were fishing the main lake just north of beaver creek. I had seen a few whites caught on extremely small white twisters with a reg gold hook and a split shot ran slow and on the bottom by a couple ole timers I talk to on the shore line. Most of the fish came right at dark and trailed off around midnight. Once the water warms up ill break out the boat. Till then no need to burn up the gas card.
