    I have a 5 year old boy and 4 year old girl. I don't get much fishing done but it's fun watching them.

    Got to lake at 5pm. Came home with 3 crappie and a walleye. Guy fishing about 30 feet away had about 10. Fun night with wife and kids so that's all I can ask for.

    Got to lake at 1 and left at 7. Came home with 5 keepers. Caught a few shorts and 4 short bass. Kids had fun and wife had fun, makes me happy. All caught in about 4 foot of water. Thanks for the info crappie-hunter.

    Put in at cc yesterday with the wife. We caught a ton of shorts and left with 9 keepers. Fished a minnow about 4' deep in water that was 10' deep. Guys I talked said jig fishing was very slow. Also left with 18"bass, a walleye, and a catfish. Wife had a blast so it was a great trip. Thanks for all the reports.

    Thanks. Me and wife found some a good fishing spot last year and ended up with boats surrounding us asking us if we where ever going to move. It was hard to leave but I finally got tired it and left the cove. 3 boats hit each other trying to get in that spot. Last time I went to Aldrich. I always try to find a place that's not crowded but have a hard time finding fish.
