yeah i talked with the "ranger" from roaring river in very early spring.he said rooster tails are kosher as long as they are single hook. no plastic, rubber, fresh or dough bait allowed in the fly zones. They sure don't police it like they should in my opinion.

Hey guys, decided to hit the james this morning got there around 7:30 AM. I didn't have tons of luck. Caught 3 little sunfish and one little cat. Got a decent amount of nibbles but could have been turtles. i was just fishing with worms and chicken livers.

hey guys lived in MO pretty much all my life. just got back into fishing a few months ago. I mainly hit roaring river and the james river. just started making my own rods as well.
