  1. Anybody ever do that? Any good area's to try that at night?
  2. Is it possible to catch crappie/walleye longlining at night without planer boards?
  3. I'm in Hardy, Ar., I'll ship if you pay shipping and insurance on the pole. My zip is 72529
  4. These poles are brand new never been used, or strung up with line. I bought several of them for my crappie guide business, and didn't need as many as I thought. They sale for about $54.00 dollars each, and I want $45.00 dollars each. Thanks...
  5. Hey, Yea but there are so small it's not much fun. The trout just don't do nothing for me.
  6. Hey I moved here about 3 years ago from Grenada Lake, Ms. I love crappie fishing, and miss those big Ms. crappie. I haven't done much fishing at all here. The water is so clear they spook very easy, so I kinda gave up fishing here, but I do go back to Grenada lake and fish quite a bit. I'd be glad to swap trips with someone on Norfork that knows the crappie holes, if they would like to fish Grenada, Enid, or Sardis Lake, Ms. Best times to fish the Ms. lakes would be the spawn late March, and first two weeks of April....The Fall, Oct. and on into Dec. I don't take the heat very well at all, so would like to avoid summer months, but I'm game for all the other times. I'll furnish everything except your license, lodging, eats. I don't have a big fancy boat, just a 17.5 pro crappie bass tracker, but it is set up for spider rigging and trolling,,,good set up and catches a lot of big slab crappie. Thanks for reading....
  7. Thanks Ron, I think I might just do that, heck I'm an old fart too...lol
  8. I would have thought Norfork had lots of walleye. Coming into the lake from Henderson is there any close by ramps and crappie fishing spots close by? I'm not wanting any of your honey holes or gps cords, but maybe point me in the general area?
  9. I don't care for the strippers and white bass, crappie and walleye is what I want to fish for, and maybe some bream. I'd like to find some crappie spots close to Hendeson somewhere. I probably will not go till about the last of the month.
  10. Thanks Ham for the much needed advice. I think you are referring to sunken wood and not standing timber? I've read there are blue signs on the banks showing were there are brush that has been put for the crappie. Is this all around the lake shore, or just in certain area's? Thanks again for any help....Gary
  11. Heeeey... I'm a newbie here, and have been reading some great post. I live out from Hardy, Ar. not to bad of a drive to Norfork. I go to HM alot to see my Dr. at the Va. clinic, and drive over that bridge over the lake at Henderson, and man it really gets me going seeing the lake. I've never been on the lake, but I plan on doing some crappie fishing, and hope I can learn to walleye fish some. I have a boat, and I'm retired and can fish anytime I choose. I could use all the help I can get, I'm use to fishing stained and muddy crappie waters at Grenada, Enid, and Sardis Lake, Mississippi. This clear water sure will a tuff one to fish no doubt, I have a couple planner boards I'll need to learn to use. I think from my house to Henderson is 45 or 50 miles, so when I do come to fish I'll stay a couple days. If anyone wantsto talk fishing I'm all ears....
