  1. Thanks for the help. We picked up a couple more today off points. 2 off the point at the mouth of Jakes. One on a watermelon YUM wooly bug and another on green pumpkin 4" Kerlin grub. Picked up a couple more in Beardsley Branch on green pumpkin tube dipped in orange. All caught in about 10-12 Feet of water. Havent really had a lot of numbers. Looks like we might want to baxk off the points and get a little deeper. Highlight of the day was taking my 3 year old son out mid morning and catching a couple of bluegills! His first fish out of a boat!
  2. Thanks for the advice. We did not hit the water today - family day at Silver Dollar City. Planning on being on the water tomorrow morning by 5:30. We are going to put in at the state park. Looking forward to meeting some of those table rock smallmouth!
  3. Just spent my first morning on Table Rock. Dodging the storms we only managed two keeper smallmouth. I am comfortable in what tackle to use but still uncertain where to go. Anyone like to point me in the right direction? Any particular points or coves producing better than others right now? We fished south of the 86 bridge this morning in the Brush Creek area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Thanks for all the input and information. I really appreciate it. Looking forward to fishing this great body of water. Anyone ever use Gene Larew's Mega Ring tubes for the smallmouth or the Gene Larew Hardhead Jigs w/ the biffle bug? Thought I might bring some of those along in green pumpkin and dye them with a little orange. Thoughts?
  5. I am headed to table rock with my family this coming week June 14-21). My father in law and I are looking to get in about 4-5 mornings of fishing. We have never fished table rock before. I have been researching through maps and fishing reports. We will be staying near the rte 86 bridge and mostly fishing in the long creek arm. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on places we should check out for any of the 3 species of bass. I don't want to run too far as I only have 25 hp mercury on my Tracker ProTeam 175. Any helpful tips pointing us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
