I haven't tried to blunks yet I hear that it is really good fishing thou

Kerr acess to galena is a good one. And James river outfitters will drop you off and so will camp Harlow for a small fee

Nice I have some in my tackel box just haven't used them yet I think I will this tomorrow

I'm going Sunday. And it should be a good float and I hope I can catch a lot of fish

I'm floating the from the access point that is about Kerr I think it's called cox. I'm g Floating form there to jro and was wanting to know if that is a good strech of the river to float or not. I have never floated that part of the river yet and how was the fishing at that point

That is true it is very crowded. Only time no one is there is like very early and there is few spots to fish

I have caught like a few keepers of bluegill last year out of there but that was it . And I have never seen any bass at all there or catfish or crappie. It has too much grass to fish in spots and all but I also think it's over fished

I haven't caught any white bass latley but have caught some down at blunks hole a few weeks back an also at McDaniel lake

I will have to try it and launch at sunshine bridge and float down to springfield lake feel that it will be some nice fishing because no one fishes it

I have never been to dykes we're is that at

I also know of a good hole up river an down river at Crighton access but got to have a canoe or if you don't mind waking throu water to get to it

I use a lot of lie bait like crawl dad's at Crighton andake springfield and at McDaniel I know of we're to catch some good numbers as down big crappie and bass using live minnows for crappie at night with a lantern and a bitse jig with a green trailer like a crawldad thing or at McDaniel use blue during the day an black at night with the bitsie jig

I also catch and release all the bass out of springfield lake. I have caught some nice size ones out there. I used to see some nice ones jump out of the water but not as much anymore as I did two years ago

Maybe next time we can stop and swap fishing stories

I saw you then you floated right pass me as I was stoped to fish

Maybe we did I was in a camp Harlow canoe. Did your john boat have a tolling moter on it. That was one I saw and another without one that had a guy and a girl that the only two I saw

I got a little start to my trip than I wanted but it was still a good trip. I decided to bring my girlfiend with me she has been begging me to take her floating. We launched from Kerr and floated to camp Harlow. We caught it of blue gill and red ear sunfish. I saw some nice size large mouth and one nice size smallmouth. Tried to catch them but they wouldn't bit for me. Other people had some luck catching them thou guess it was not my day at all. But I did catch one smallmouth about 12 inches right under the y highway bride I thought I was hung at first. And I caught it on a live worm which is strange I never caught them befor on a live worm but there is always a first. Over all it was a great float trip and a great day to be on the water.
