I have had some luck near the Jamesriver enterance on a bitsy jig

Minnows are working really we'll. I hav had a lot of luck floating the James and Finley river from ozark to we're I meets the James and also from galena to table rock and from hooten town to galena also lots of small mouth and google eye

How is the small mouth and google eye fishing after the rain we had? I am heading down to Galena to do some floating and fishing on Sunday. Plus how are te catfish biting also.

I got off work early today as decided to go do a little fishing by the house luckly I had the poles already in the car. I ended up catch some blue gill and 5 google eye only one decent size one thou. I was using small plastic minnows and I caught the decent one on a live crawldad

Ya I don't plan on keeping any just catch and release but will keep the google eye thou

You can fish on the east side o the lake past the dock jut stay along that inbankment

I went last weekend and caught some google eye and a couple small mouth up river near Crighton access on live crawldads and a couple of large mouth also -
Hello my name is Jesse and I'm new here and I enjoy reading all the infromation everyone post. I like fishing for crappie and rock bass and small mouth and large mouth bass. I'm looking for new people to go fishin with like in or Around the springfield area. Maybe someone that has an extra canoe or kyak I can use would be nice. I know of a few good fishin spot that have yet to let me down
