  3. These are my buddy's fish
  4. Started at about 3:30 way up long creek hitting transition banks caught 4 fish all large mouth, 1 on a pigsticker snowden jig, 1 that was about 4 pounds on a war eagle 1/2 ounce spinnerbait, and 2 on a 1.5 sexy shad squarebill, then headed up closer to dark by the 86 bridge fishing a chunk rock bank that the wind was blowing on and I caught 3 spots, 2 of them bieng keepers, and my buddy was throwing the squarebill and caught a good 3lb class largemouth and as we where aproaching a point he hooked a 6 or 7 pound large mouth that broke his line at the boat as we where trying to get him in the boat, seems like ones like that only bite when u are using light line and forget your net. After that happend we headed back into persimon hollow fishing some banks with the wart and a bandit 300 in a basic shad pattern and my buddy pulled up his personal best smallmouth that was around 4 pounds. After that we fished around and ran some more banks and not one more fish so we called it a day. And also a question, how do you post pictures in here from a mobile device like a iPhone 5?
  5. We launched at cricket marina around 2. Water temps whereabout 67 degrees at cricket. We figured we would run up and fish are way back to cricket. Ran up to brushy creek and threw a wart and a jig around and nothing. After doing a hour of that we ran to some docks and caught a white bass to start in the stall of a boat dock about 40ft deep. As we where moving around the dock we where marking fish on the cables of the dock 20ft down in 40ft. Was able to pull a 2 keepers of the cables, we fished are way around I to some more shallow stalls and hung my jig of and broke it off so all I had on deck to flip to a dock was a spoon. I was bouncing the spoon in 10 ft of water and was able to pull up a 3 pound class large mouth just bumping the spoon off the bottom. Then after fishing about 5 more docks and catching three more keeper spots. We ran as far as physically possible as u can go up long creek in a bass boat. The shad was going crazy and fish where busting them out of the water every where, managed 5 on a square bill, 1 on a spinnerbait, and are biggest of the day a largemouth pushing four was caught on a red eye shad in less then a foot of water. Fished the back of yocham and cricket creek and only one more bite and it was a decent large mouth that came off at the boat on the red eye shad. Off the water at 6:30.
  6. It's a little late but my first post to this forum so I figured I would share. Started out in the dam area fishing backs of the pockets and docks and got one small large mouth on a jig. Nothing in the back of the pockets though. Then we made a run down towards some docks by the 86 bridge and started flipping a spoon in dock stalls 25 to 40 ft deep. Found a hot boat slip and caught 12 fish out of it with 6 being keepers all kentuckys. As I was going around the end of a dock a fish blew up and I Casted to it, soon as my spoon hit the water a 3 and 1/2 pound large mouth about jerks the rod out of my hand. Flipped 4 or 5 more docks and that was it. Right before dark we decided to give the shallow fish another chance and ran into the back of brush creek. Caught 6 fish total in the back as far as you can go 2 on a black horny toad, 1 on a 1.5, and 3 on a jig with 3 being keepers. And that was pretty much it after those last few fish.
