  1. Stockton, MO. March 5, 2015 A good mix of anglers at Stockton Lake! “As we outlined in the press release about Stockton last week we were expecting 20-30 teams depending on the weather. Stated Dan Palmer MWC Senior Tournament director. “We knew when we schedule Stockton that it would not be a huge 1st time event but we wanted to expose MWC and our sponsors to new area and mix of anglers and we have.” The main ramp is ice free today at Orleans Trail Marina even after the recent record cold spell. All the sponsor support crews, Ranger, Lowrance and Mercury are here on site supporting the event and all the new faces. The field is a great mix of anglers competing not only for the MWC prize money but for the title of Missouri State Champions. The field is made up of faithful MWC teams from 10 states who braved the weather to come to Stockton. Included in the 22 boat field are; 2 past World Walleye Champions, 3 past MWC event winners and nearly half the field brand new anglers to MWC! Weigh ins are at 3:00pm CST each day Friday and Saturday at Orleans Trail Marina. Internet here lake side in the Ozarks Mountains is none! BUT we will update the leaderboard as much as we can and tape the weigh in and upload to MastersWalleyeCircuit.com as soon as we get to a signal! You can follow the weigh in leader-board and see the video of each day at MastersWalleyeCircuit.com! The first 50 kids at the weigh in tomorrow will receive a free rod and reel and a fishing clinic courtesy of NPAA!
  2. There will be some MWC Circuit anglers travel down out of the frozen north country to this event, (if they can move enough snow to get thier boats out of storage!) No one knows right now how many will make the trip but a few have already registered for Stockton! It is a first time MWC event on a new lake WAY south for most of the traditional circuit anglers and it is very early in the year. MWC anglers only get to count 3 scores (out of 11 events nationwide) to qualfiy for the World Walleye Champinship, so MWC circuit anglers (you) do not have to fish all 11 events. We have found that most NEW first time outlining Masters Walleye Circuit events draw 25-45 teams. However, we wanted to sponsor an event on Stockton no matter if only 20 teams show up, it should be fun! AND we want to expand the MWC circuit anywhere there are walleye anglers willing to fish and we know there are some GREAT Walleye anglers in the MO, KY, AR, CO, KS and NE areas, TWF even has member walleye clubs in New Mexico and TEXAS! The fish do not know who is on the other end of the line! This is YOUR event, your path to big dollar events and your only path the the Cabela's National Team Championship on Milford Lake, KS in May or to the 2016 World Walleye Championship! Sign up at www.masterswalleyecircuit.com and show the world you can catch Walleye as well as anyone! Give the office a call if you have questions. 580.765.9031
  3. The Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit, the premier Team Walleye circuit in North America has announced that the 2015 MWC circuits season opener will be held on Stockton Lake March 6-7 out of Orleans Trail Marina! Registration for all two person teams is open now at MastersWalleyeCirucit.com and all local area Walleye club members and walleye anglers are encouraged to sign up and try your hand at top level walleye fishing, so pass the word to your clubs and fishing buddies! MWC boasts the best payouts in the high stakes team fishing arena and over 100% payback in cash and prizes each year to our anglers. (2014 year end payback was nearly 130%) You and your partner could qualify for the most prestigious event in all of walleye fishing, the 2016 World Walleye Championship by fishing only 3 MWC circuit events this year and the first one is in your back yard so there has never been a better time to try it. Whether you fish 1, 3 or all 11 MWC circuit events this year we look forward to seeing you there! We think there is some great walleye anglers in the MO, KS, AR and surrounding states so come on out and show the world you can catch Walleye's as good as anyone! The Stockton Lake event will also be one of only two designated "Last Chance" qualifiers for the walleye world's richest payout tournament, the 2015 Cabela's National Team Championship (NTC), which is being held May 27-30 on Milford Lake in Junction City Kansas! Anglers from over 30 states have been qualifying for the 2015 NTC for a year now and at the Stockton lake last chance qualifier, 1 out of every 10 teams (Highest finishers who indicate during on site registration at Stockton lake that they want into the NTC side pot pool) (no entry fee for this NTC sidepot pool at Stockton)) will qualify to advance to the 2015 NTC and compete for their share of the over $200,000 dollars in cash and prizes normally given away each year at the Cabela's NTC. www.walleyefederation.com If you love to walleye fish and you have always wanted to try your hand at high stakes walleye action, now is the time to do it in your local area.
