I mainly fish jigs when i go to Taney. And usually stay below bull creek, The island that is right across form Rockaway is a good spot there is lots of brush and stumps all the way around the island that fish like to sit on. Another good spot is those docks just down lake past the first bed. There is no grass in them and on a sunny day the bass like to sit up underneath them. When it gets hot in the summer time you can flip whatever you want in there and get bit and there are usually some good ones that hide in there. Flipping brush all the way down by the dam had produced for me too. Take it for what its worth but that's usually what i do when i hit taney. My pb was caught at there being 7.8 at the end of may last year so there are some good fish in that lake for sure.
Could anyone give me any information on when and where the bass spawn on lower Taneycomo. I am still in high school so i mainly fish this lake in the summer time and usually do pretty good in doing so. I was just curious on if i could catch a few fish off of beds or not. Thank you

Have Been hitting taney quite a bit lately and have been doing pretty good. As of lately bull creek hasn't been very good for me. If you get there early enough in the morning you can catch a few on a frog or a buzzbait right at the mouth but thats all thats been working there for me. The real good bite for me has been hitting all the docks from rockaway down to powersite. Ive caught lots of good 2-3 pounders with the biggest being 5.48 out the docks my last 4 times out. Just flip a craw type bait or a jig all the way in the back of the stalls and hold on!
I've never been to Stockton before and we will be down tommorow to perfidy for a tournament next weekend. Plan on throwing spinnerbaits and wiggle warts. Anything else I should throw? Any help is appreciated.
My school will be fishing in a tournament this coming Saturday out of pb2. My partner and I fished last weekend without getting a bite. We tried jigs, a rigs, jerk baits, and the water was still a little cold for them but we tried wiggle warts. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Wont have the boat this weekend so I'll be in a kayak so i cant troll like i would want. Any way i could catch them shallower on the usual whitebass lures....sliders, rooster tails, A Rigs etc...
