  2. Hi All! I will be down on the annual family vacation this upcoming week and will be staying on HI. I hope to post some pictures of the kids and I reeling in some whoppers. I have been practicing on Wisconsin waters and I hope it pays off. ? Ben
  3. Hi Everybody, I have been fishing out of my FS12T for a few months now and I am looking for a visibility kit. Anybody know of a good quality product at a fair price?
  4. As for the fishing. Top water early with a Spook worked for me in Leatherwood. Tie on a Fluke with a drop shot when the sun gets up. Go get 'em!
  5. I just left there this morning. Water was up but the marina was accessible. However, (and a big however), I am not sure how much rain hit that area today.
  6. Leatherwood creek area?
  7. Through a little bit of research it seems that most of the WW success happens in the fall, winter and spring. Is there any reason for me to tie a WW on this week?
  8. I was able to get the picture uploaded this morning. Caught him on a Super Spook at 8:30am.
  9. Arkansas Bass Number 1 is in the books! Thanks to all the information the members of this forum have provided! It might not be the largest fish in the lake, but it might be the most memorable. Thanks again, and if any of you are launching at the HI marina and you see a guy with a couple kids fishing of the public access pier, give a wave.
  10. I will be on HI this coming Monday! Thanks for the pictures, it looks as beautiful as ever.
  11. Thanks for the update! I will be down on Monday to enjoy some R&R. Hopefully it is cleared out by then.
  12. Thanks for the search help. I will read up on Bill's drop-shot technique.
  13. I will be on Holiday Island for some family vacation from June 29- July 12. My vessel will be a kayak, and I will be launching at the "Point". Should I plan on using a Drop Shot rig? Any advice on the setup would be appreciated. (Leader length, sinker weight, worm color, etc.) Thank you all!
  14. Water is one powerful SOB.
  15. That's awesome. We are planning on heading out to Pea Ridge with the kids, and could stop in on our way home. Thanks for the suggestion! I never would have found that place. My father's day list is getting pretty long...
  16. I just liked his Facebook page. Lots of great information there. I hope to swing in when we stop by Branson for some shopping.
  17. Great advise. The first day out i will probably paddle around the shallow beach area and practice tipping that bad-boy over. That way I can practice emergency self rescue, and verify my tethers are in good working order.
  18. Hi Everyone, I just picked up an Ascend Angler Kayak for some fun on the water near Holiday Island. Besides the obvious accessories, PFD, and a paddle, what else can you all recommend for a day on Table Rock? Thank you!
  19. This is the first fish my son caught on Holiday Island last year. He was pretty nervous about giving that monster a hand.
  20. Hi ciRe, Do you still have the 12' kayak for sale? If so, are you able to provide me a picture and description of the kayak. Thank you!
  21. I love the Holiday Island tips. I spend my family vacations on the island, and we are always looking for places to venture out and drown worms with the kids.
  22. I am also relatively new to Table Rock. I have been coming down 4-5 times a year to the Holiday Island area over the past 3 years and love to take the kids out fishing. I would love to find a good, or at least entertaining, bank fishing spot near by. I am considering hitting the old Beaver railroad bridge in a few weeks. Any luck over there? Thanks!
