I read a report on MDC a few months back about the electofishing on springfield lake. That said since they started killing off the grass and pads in the lake the number of fish and quality of the fish in the lake has dropped dramatically. They should and need to place some fish attractors and other fish friendly structure in the lake. I always thought a dock path from the boathouse thru all the grass and pads on that large flat to the old grain silo maybe with a few fishing docks branched off of it would be pretty cool. -

I'm new to the area and the only place I could find them was a place in northern Springfield can't remember the name. Any way I drove by last weekend and the place was gone. I've called 4 places I found on google but none of them sell any live bait. Please help
