Hey Orch, Did ya have any luck yet on Norfork lake? I am new to the far southern part of missouri, I am originally from south of St. Louis, and moved to Columbia MO, now to Alton Missouri which is just East of West Plains, I fish for a bit of everything but I have to say my favorite fish may be the Common Carp, if you'd be interested, some weekend maybe we could meet up and try out targeting carp on Norfork, or one of the many feeder creeks of Norfork?

Hello everyone! I recently moved to Alton Missouri for my job, its about 30 minutes east of west plains. fishing occupies most of my free time. I mostly fly fish for everything I can and I bait fish on occasion for catfish, carp or bluegill. Thanks for having me on here! I have been fly fishing the eleven point for rainbow trout and pickerel, and I plan to start trying other creeks, rivers, and lakes to try them and to target a wider variety of species. I like fishing for a little bit of everything, so if ya pass through the area, let me know!
