River flow is reduced so use due caution; you may want the flow to get above 500 CFS or better. Sooner or later you'll bump bottom on that new Blazer so, just consider that part of the jet boat experience. If you fish it this weekend, when the flow is down... it will be sooner than later.
In short, it's low and takes some experience to run at this level. Saturday, I was going to fish up from Campbell Bride to around Onandago Cave Ramp but going to fish the Gasconade instead. If you'd like more info, feel free to call:

I have been watching the USGS data on the flow in Sullivan, and it has been moving in the wrong direction. I have only been out in my boat a few times, and I want to go someplace that is reasonably safe. And, the flow on the Sullivan gauge worries me.
I considered going to the Gasconade near Jerome, but I thought it might be harder to run than the middle Meramec. I've only been to the Gasconade once, in a canoe earlier this summer. Right now, the flow at Jerome is 679 cfs. Is that a safe flow? Or, are you going to a different part of the Gasconade?
