Hiya all.. Well i went to taney this morning and met Leonard . Wooo Hooooo , and i caught a Brown , it wasnt big enuff to keep but it sure did take a good picture. It seemed like a 5 minute fight or so , it was awesome , thanks Leonard for helping me , I caught this on a white jig i think its called. Leonard left to do family stuff and i caught 1 more on the Rapala he gave me , (i bought only 1 this morning at Walmart but a theif fish stole it from me) so all in all i caught 3 browns today but only landed 2 , Leonard thanks so much for taking time from your life to help me a complete stranger catch sum browns , Im making a shopping list for Walmart , 2 Rapalas F5 any other suggestions u all Thanks Mr Ducky John

Howdy , i fish alot down at taneycomo and use power bait , i use white fl yellow and pink , it works well .... but i want to catch some browns , Lisa at lileys landing said rooster tails and rapalas and cleos can anyone help me in a color to use , my rooster tails are single hook and i smash all my barbs no matter what , but i dont no what type of rapalas to use and colors , any help would be awesome , im going to the landing tommarow morning and i want a brown trout

i will be down at the landing around 7 am tommarow 12/19/06 if anyone wants to join me , hopefully the people at the office of lileys will let me fish there again John (Mr Ducky)

We'll bring something...probably potato salad, but maybe desserts instead...Possibly both! Will say for sure in the next week.

My whole family loves to fish. I'm John, and have been in Missouri for a year. I moved here from Southern California. My wife, Tami, has lived in Missouri most of her life, and her grandmother taught her to fish for anything from trout to catfish. Our son, Devon, likes to fish when he's catching. We don't fly fish...yet...so if anyone has any tips on bait fishing, I'd be glad to hear them! I went to Lilley's Landing yesterday, and had a wonderful time! I got one good size, and 2 smaller stockers. They did put up quite a fight! We would like to try boat fishing. Is it better to rent, buy, or make friends with a boat owner? At least one of us goes fishing every week. Sometimes the whole family, sometimes just one of us, sometimes we hire a babysitter. I am going to be bringing the rest of the family down to the Landing within the next 2 weeks (Christmas vacation for Devon and Tami!). If anyone wants to join us, let me know!
