We are still getting rain here in DFW, Texas. This muddy lake fishing is not working out so well for striper and hybrids. Seems like last spring all over again.

I am not going to complain about the rain myself. Good Lord knows we need it. When I was younger, I just bundled up and went fishing anyway. These days, not so much. Some of our lakes and ramps are closed now after this weeks rain. It isn't as bad here as I have seen on the news in other states. Pray everyone stays safe.

I live in North Central Texas. I am interested in Striper and Hybrid fishing. I sometimes guide on some of the local lakes. I have a trip planned in a couple of weeks to go to Beaver Lake for some of your awesome hybrid and striper fishing. I thought it might help to check out some forums to better my chances of catching some of them. I have also invented and patented a device called '"Bobo's Thumper". A lot of sand bass, hybrid, and striper fisherman here thump on the deck of their boat to attract shad and larger fish to improve their catch rate. I built a mechanical device with a 12 volt motor and rubber hammer that works really well, and lets me fish, help others land their fish, and other things that take more hands than I have.
