For real how long have you guys been fishing Stockton Lake you know that after a big rain like that it's going to shut them fished out especially with the cold temperatures you might want to give it to at least Friday or Saturday for it to warm up a little bit any little slight weather change on a cold front shuts the crappie down. I've been fishing that like since I was 12 with my Dad I'm 41 years old now and it's happened that way every year not getting on to anybody I'm just stating the facts here

Better give it a couple days even as Flaps in Slinger those fish are going to be shut off for a couple days after this rain, slab Slinger I mean I'm trying to eat and use voice text

Or it not that come up and feed on crayfish on the bank in the summer

I was up Saturday all day, and only caught small ones in 15 to 20 feet in the timber.

When there is a cold snap they shut off like a light switch, I'd say after the rain the other wave will move up to drop there eggs and it's over. Warm and cold temps, push them out that's why I always catch them late in the evening, after the sun has been up.

Those walleye come up to eat crappie eggs, I've caught several on chunk rock banks.

I have been catching big bass in 3 feet of water on chunk rock banks, I fish slower and get better results. This is my ammo . I have these made, you can not even buy it.

I caught another one today on the Ned rig fishing around L5

Get ya some on a ned rig . Lost a 8 pound plus Largemouth around High Point lost a couple more big ones on the Ned rig did pretty productive day got some good fish. Just gotta figure out how to not keep losing these bass on the Ned rig. Cooler weather really shut the fish down was not really productive until mid-afternoon. Then my dad plugs fouled on my boat motor. Thank goodness for Good Men Kota trolling motor and a wife with good arms to just roll along with the paddle. Not a boat in sight to give me any help either from L5 all the way to Cedar Ridge I had to troll with my trolling motor. Guess I'm mixing my gas too rich with two cycle. Y'all have a good week and good fishing.
