I wanted to heck that out but I'm not really sure how to get there.

I went fishing out on Ruark Bluff again. I went out early in the morning as the sun was coming up and figured i'd catch a few white bass. Instead I found a otter swimming and playing and catching breakfast. I paddled around in my kayak for a while and fished my usual spots and couldn't find anything. Finally in the evening the fish started biting and I ended up with some good sized large mouth bass and a white bass. The bass i was catching were hitting the curly tail grubs on a jig head. Dragging the jig head across the bottom and the fish were hiding below the rocks hitting it on the drop. The was very little wind and the water was mostly calm. Great fishing. I put in at the Ruark Bluff swimming area and paddled around in my Kayak all day. Started the day off catching 2 white bass in the morning, did some paddling around and exploring, Then I paddled into a cove after I saw over a half a dozen boats motor up into this cove and I watched them but nobody caught anything so I paddled up in and figured I'd give it a try if it was as popular as it looked. Caught 1 walleye, 1 crappie, 2 largemouth bass, and a good sized catfish. Wind was blowing pretty hard around 1 but died down and the temp dropped a couple degrees and that's when the fish really started biting. I fished with 2 different lures all day, The hard bait i was using caught all but 1 of the fish. The softbait caught one of the largemouth.

Thank you for the tip. I thought about staying out longer the other day but fighting the wind and waves from the kayak wore me out. Hopefully next weekend if it's not too windy.

I found a lil bass in a cove straight out from the boat ramp, at the end of the channel on cc. I got him on the rocks with a green diver. I tried to locate more but got up in the cove and there was alot of shade activity so I left. I didn't figure they'd be that far in.

I was all over the main channel on Cc boat ramp, I hit the drop off a with everything i had, fished the flats and turned up a catfish a drum and a white bass. It was very windy today though too so I wasn't able to find any. I did hear 1 boater caught only 1 11".

I'm heading out there on a kayak, if I find any I'll let ya know
