    Planning a trip later in March but Nemo landing doesn't take reservations for camping until mid April. Not sure if they're closed or just don't require reservations . Any other suggestions with easy Lake access?

    Thanks for all the info. This is helpful. So it looks like a lot of you hi viz line. Do most folks use a mono leader or tie the jig onto the hi viz?

    I know I might get a lot of opinions but overall for jig/minnow single pole fishing what are the thoughts on reasonable rigs for crappie? ive used ultralight stuff from Walmart in varying length and quality bought in combos over the years (usually whatever is cheapest) but have never been serious about crappie fishing until now. What outfits do I need to rig up with? I'd like to stay around $100 per rig. Thx in advance

    New to lake fishing... what should a guy be looking for in water level in this report to determine your odds? I assume you don't want the water dropping but for this lake is there a sweet spot ?

    That's what I was looking for...just pointed in the general direction. Is one of those ramps as good as the other as far as launching? Thanks a bunch

    Buying my first bass boat this weekend...trying to get setup for retirement in 3 or 4 years or so. Can anyone offer advise on crappie fishing Pom De Terre? Haven't lake fished much and not wanting to know your exact favorite spot..just general ideas where to put in on the east side and thoughts on how to get my bride and I on some fish. May be able to get away for a couple days in a week or so. Thanks to anyone that is willing to throw a guy a bone !
